We were thrilled to be part of this exciting new project at St Christopher’s At The Village in London Bridge.
Our brief was to manufacture individual pods designed for people to sleep in. These sleeping pods, which are the first of their kind in the UK, allow people to sit up, read, and of course sleep in, with the extra benefit of privacy compared to your standard hostel.
The capsules were designed to include everything you may need including plug socket, USB ports, curtains, a ventilation system to keep you cool and even mood lighting.
Charlotte Johnstone, travel writer for The Telegraph spent a night in one – read her full story here.
With these pods being such a success, there are plans for more to be manufactured for elsewhere in the UK – watch this space!
